We are currently recruiting a Communications & PR Manager - Sport to working closely with our sports brands across Kayo Sports, Fox Sports and Foxtel, where you’ll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional content to millions of sports fans. As our Communications & PR Manager - Sport, you’ll be responsible for crafting and executing communication plans that elevate the profile of our brands, sports, talent, and initiatives. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders including athletes, ambassadors and partners to craft storytelling that reaches and influences audiences in the channels they are consuming. Success will be measured by your ability to connect and engage fans with our sport offering to drive demand and engagement across the variety of sports we offer. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a deep understanding and love of sport, a passion for storytelling and an extensive understanding of the media landscape and social ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Drive earned media and social engagement with compelling, timely, and relevant storytelling Leveraging your strong network of media, publishers, and content creators for communication and media relations Apply creative and solutions-focused thinking to innovate and achieve results in a dynamic industry Utilise data to shape PR strategies and deliver high-impact, results-focused communications. Develop and implement PR strategies aligned with business and brand objectives Lead end-to-end PR and communications campaigns, collaborating with marketing, creative, and digital teams Manage internal and external stakeholders to foster alignment, collaboration, and partnerships. Work closely with top-tier talent, agents, and managers to extract value and maximise opportunities, ensuring that both established and emerging talent contribute to enhancing brand narrative About your experience 4-8 years in journalism, communications, PR, or media relations, with high-profile campaign and brand management experience. Expertise and passion for sports media, storytelling, and content creation across platforms. Strong project management skills, from ideation to execution, with effective stakeholder engagement. Highly organised, accountable, and creative, thriving in fast-paced environments. Experience in publicity, talent management, and handling high-profile events. A versatile skillset, adaptable across various brands and content pillars. Strategic thinking to align communications with broader business objectives. Collaborative leadership, fostering strong relationships at all levels. A natural inquisitiveness, constantly seeking new insights and innovative solutions. A results-driven approach, focused on influencing audiences and elevating brand visibility.
