Ready to turn your media connections into headlines? We are looking for a high-energy PR Consultant (Account Manager level) to join our Culture, Sport & Entertainment team. If you want to move away from the slow lane and join the heartbeat of a super‑charged indie agency, this is your moment. This isn’t a sit‑back‑and‑watch role. You will be the driving force on the ground for some of the world’s biggest brands—from major sporting codes and liquor giants to household consumer goods. You will rely on your sharp news sense and trusted media contacts to deliver Excess Earned Attention™. You’ll be activating campaigns, managing talent, and securing the coverage that gets people talking. What You’ll Do Owning the Pitch: You are the media relations lead, pitching and landing stories across news, sport, and lifestyle verticals. Campaign Execution: You’ll take big creative concepts and bring them to life, managing the moving parts of activations, product launches, and influencer drops. Client Connection: You will be the day‑to‑day trusted contact for clients, keeping them updated, happy, and confident in our work. Content & Creative: Drafting high-quality media materials and social copy, while briefing our creative studio to produce assets that pop. Mentoring: You’ll help guide our coordinators and assistants, showing them the ropes and helping them grow. What You’ll Bring An earned‑first cultural‑led comms lens 3-5 years’ experience in PR, comms or integrated agency roles A strong background working across consumer brands, ideally including tech, lifestyle or innovation A passion for earned‑first storytelling and understanding of how to bring it to life across channels Confidence in writing, pitching, client management and campaign delivery Sharp attention to detail, with solid account/project management skills A collaborative mindset and positive energy that lifts the team and the work Experience with global clients, tech platforms or influencer campaigns is a bonus Why Thrive?
