iDrilling Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Drill Fitter for an ongoing position in our workshop based in Neerabup WA 6031. What you'll be doing Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various drill rigs (e.g. Hydco 350 & 800, Schramm T450, PRD and Laynes) Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic faults Conduct breakdown repairs efficiently to minimise downtime Work closely with site teams Carry out component change-outs and rebuilds according to OEM specifications Ensure accurate maintenance records and reports are completed Assist with pre-start checks and field service activities Liaise with supervisors and other trades to coordinate maintenance activities Support continuous improvement by reporting defects and suggesting solutions Maintain workshop and work area cleanliness and safe operating standards Assist with other maintenance tasks as directed by the supervisor What we're looking for Trade qualified Heavy‑Duty Diesel Fitter (Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent) Minimum 2–3 years’ experience working on drill rigs in mining or heavy industry Sound knowledge of hydraulic systems, drill rig mechanics, and diesel engines Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics Familiar with diagnostic tools and software Basic electrical and auto‑electrical fault identification (advantageous) Basic welding and fabrication skills (desirable) HR Driver’s Licence – Preferred HRW Licence – Forklift What we offer At iDrilling Australia, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment.
