Information Technology Manager

IT Manager We’re seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead Sympli’s internal technology environment. Reporting to the CTO, you’ll ensure secure, reliable and scalable IT operations, with a strong focus on security and ISO 27001 compliance. This is a hands‑on leadership role supporting a small team, ideal for someone who thrives in a growing, maturing environment and enjoys balancing strategy with day‑to‑day delivery. Hybrid: Minimum 2 days in-office (Tues & Thurs). What you’ll do Shape and deliver IT strategy, policies, and budgets. Own and maintain security controls aligned to our ISMS and ISO 27001. Manage enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, HRIS, collaboration tools). Oversee user access, RBAC and least‑privilege enforcement. Lead service desk operations and act as escalation SME. Manage software, hardware, licensing and vendor relationships. Ensure system uptime, DR, backups, endpoint protection and patching. Support automation, workflow improvements and new system rollouts. Work closely with Security & Compliance on audits and risk management. What you bring A proactive, detail‑oriented leader who can be both strategic and hands‑on. Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset. Ability to drive improvement and change in a fast‑paced environment. Commitment to continuous learning and development. Experience & Technical Skills 7+ years in IT leadership, ideally in regulated SaaS / FinTech. Experience with ISO 27001, audits and compliance frameworks. Background managing cross‑functional teams and stakeholders. Strong knowledge of Windows desktop environments; Linux/Mac beneficial. Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Office 365, SharePoint, Entra, Dynamics 365, Zendesk. Networking & infrastructure experience (Cisco/Aruba), endpoint security (e.g., CrowdStrike), and BCP/DR planning. Nice to have Scale‑up experience. Familiarity with SOC2 / Essential 8.
