We’re looking for a Grants and Communications Officer with a passion for storytelling and digital engagement. In this role, you’ll help drive our fundraising goals by managing grants, creating compelling content, and building our online presence. What You’ll Do 1. Grants Management (70%) Write and submit engaging grant proposals, reports, and acquittals on time. Research and identify new funding opportunities aligned with our strategy. Maintain a grants calendar to track submissions and deadlines. Monitor and evaluate grant performance and compliance. Work with internal teams to identify and prioritise funding needs. 2. Communications & Social Media (20%) Deliver our social media strategy in line with organisational goals. Manage and grow our presence on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Create and curate engaging content — posts, stories, videos, and graphics. Track analytics and engagement to improve content performance. Support newsletters, website updates, and media releases. 3. Team & Event Support (10%) Support fundraising events and campaigns with creative content. Collaborate with teams to align messages, visuals, and data. Contribute to annual reports, donor stories, and impact updates. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, or related field. Minimum 2 years’ experience in grant writing and management. Experience managing relationships with funders and stakeholders. A strong network within the philanthropic sector. Proven success in securing grants and driving digital engagement. Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, analytics). Graphic design or video editing experience (Canva or Adobe Suite) is a plus. Highly organised, deadline-driven, and able to juggle multiple priorities. Bonus Skills Understanding of non-profit fundraising and donor communications. Familiarity with email marketing, and digital advertising. What We Offer Competitive salary package.
