Policy & Grants Manager / Policy & Grants Officer Agency: Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage – Perth WA Join one of WA's most innovative and forward‑thinking agencies and be part of something rewarding and exciting. We're looking for enthusiastic and analytically inclined people for the Urban Greening and Coastal teams in our Strategy & Engagement division. Roles & Responsibilities Level 7 Policy and Grants Manager (Urban Greening team, permanent) Strategic oversight, management and administration of grant programmes and related policies. Build and maintain stakeholder partnerships to support urban greening or Coast WA programmes, including grants, incentives, land use policies and associated activities. Lead and manage staff in a program environment, planning and delivering high‑quality services while managing competing priorities and resources. Apply conceptual, research and analytical skills to develop effective strategy and policy. Promote an overall vision for planning programmes in line with stakeholder and community value. Level 6 Policy and Grants Officer (Urban Greening team, permanent) Plan and deliver programs and services to a high standard, managing competing priorities and resources. Produce clear written recommendations, reports, policies and briefings. Administer grants, including planning, preparation, delivery, assessment, monitoring and acquittal. Apply knowledge of budget and financial management processes, including procurement. Demonstrate core leadership behaviours outlined in Leadership Expectations.
