About the role Lead and deliver the Reconciliation Action Plan and First Nations employment strategy. Support leaders and teams to create culturally safe workplaces and employee experiences. Full time or part time ongoing role. Hours per week: 40. Payment: Base salary up to $15,899 (salary packaging) and meal and entertainment allowance up to $2,650 per annum. Responsibilities Lead the RAP and First Nations employment strategy. Support leaders and teams to create culturally safe work environments and enhance employee experience. Build and maintain strong partnerships with First Nations communities, organisations and stakeholders. Develop and deliver cultural supervision, training programs and initiatives across the employee lifecycle. Provide reporting, briefings and strategic guidance to leadership and governing bodies. Qualifications Identify as First Nations and be accepted by their community. Provide documentation confirming Aboriginality or Torres Strait Islander heritage if required. Relevant experience or qualifications in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Strong understanding of First Nations cultural safety and reconciliation practices. Proven experience in workforce strategy, leadership and stakeholder engagement. Excellent communication, relationship-building and operational delivery skills. Strong working knowledge and understanding of reconciliation action. Pre‑employment requirements Current valid Driver's License and the ability to undertake some travel. Satisfactory Police Records Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check. NDIS Workers Orientation Modules – free online course. Right to Work within Australia.
