The Role Dyno Nobel Asia Pacific (DNAP) has an opportunity for a self-driven and collaborative Procurement Specialist to support category strategies and drive procurement initiatives aligned with business goals. You’ll work with stakeholders to implement programs, manage contracts, and improve supply outcomes through cost control, performance, and risk management. This role also contributes to continuous improvement and ensures compliance with Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) standards, including DNAP’s Modern Slavery and Indigenous Participation objectives. As part of this role, some travel is required. Role Responsibilities Develop and apply strategic procurement processes including spend analysis, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), supplier dynamics, and cost driver insights aligned with business needs. Collaborate with stakeholders to align procurement activities with short- and long-term business objectives, operational requirements, and cost-saving opportunities. Manage contracts and categories through regular reviews, ensuring compliance, performance, and continuous improvement. Oversee supplier relationships and supply chain segmentation to optimize cost performance, address international and local challenges, and support capability development. Maintain robust administrative practices across contract management, project planning, documentation, reporting, and training. What You’ll Bring You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture. Experience in tendering, contract management or strategic sourcing within a medium to large organisation (manufacturing sector is desirable). A continuous improvement mindset and a solid understanding of procurement processes and concepts. Demonstrated experience in sourcing, category, contract and supplier management and the ability to manage all autonomously. Strong commercial acumen with a solid understanding of business cost drivers and the procurement to pay process. Highly organised with advanced level experience in MS Office 365 and SAP (desirable). A self-driven, collaborative team player with a ‘can do attitude’.
