As an Employer Engagement Specialist in ourInclusive Employment Australia (IEA) Program , you’ll connect job‑ready participants with real opportunities by building strong employer and community partnerships. This role blends business development with relationship management, enabling you to create sustainable employment pathways for people with disability, injury, or health conditions – helping shape inclusive futures and strengthen communities. Key Responsibilities Drive Employer Partnerships – Lead engagement strategies and build strong relationships with businesses and community organisations to create meaningful job opportunities. Deliver Employment Outcomes – Use targeted reverse marketing and business development strategies to convert opportunities into sustainable placements. Support Participant Success – Collaborate with internal teams to match participants to meaningful roles using a strength‑based, person‑centred approach. Ensure Compliance – Maintain accurate records and uphold compliance standards to support high‑quality, contract‑aligned outcomes. This position operates across the West and North West Tasmania Employment Services Area (ESA), with key locations in Burnie and Devonport , and outreach services extending to surrounding regional and rural communities, including the North West Coast, Central Highlands , and West Coast regions . What You’ll Bring Business Development Mindset: Proven success in building employer relationships, generating new opportunities, and converting leads into outcomes. Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to influence and collaborate with employers, community organisations, and government agencies. Strategic Insight: Ability to design and deliver initiatives that respond to local labour market needs and drive sustainable, inclusive employment outcomes. Tech Savvy: Confident with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital tools. Pre‑Requisites: Full eligibility to work in Australia, with the ability to travel locally, and obtain a National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People Check.
