Senior Dance Teacher We need a versatile, experienced, community‑mindful dance teacher. The role is more than teaching; it offers leadership and future management pathways. From preschoolers taking their first‑ever class to teens chasing big goals to recreational dancers discovering their love of movement, you will help guide their journey. Your versatility, creativity and care will shape the TSD experience for thousands of families each year as we continue expanding across 3 locations in Sydney (Austral, Norwest and Rouse Hill). We are looking for someone who wants to stay, lead, grow and make their mark. What You Will Be Doing Teaching engaging and structured classes for ages preschool to teens. Delivering high‑quality instruction across multiple genres and the ATOD syllabus including jazz, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, acro and tap, with timetables built around your strengths. Choreographing routines for concerts, performances and competitions. Creating a positive, inclusive, motivating environment for all students. Supporting and mentoring junior teachers and assistants. Communicating clearly and professionally with parents and caregivers. Contributing to creative planning, studio events and evolving programs. Upholding high standards of professionalism, consistency and reliability. Taking on leadership responsibilities with room to progress into management or program oversight. Who You Are An experienced teacher with at least 3 years of dance teaching experience. Versatile across multiple styles. Confident teaching a wide age range. A strong communicator who builds trust with students and families. Reliable, consistent and committed to excellence. Passionate about dance and people. A person who thrives in a collaborative and creative studio environment. Excited by the idea of future leadership or management pathways. Bonus points if you have: ATOD syllabus experience. Competition or concert choreography experience. A desire to innovate and contribute to a forward‑thinking team. What You Will Need At least 3 years of dance teaching experience. Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain. First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to complete. Australian work authorisation. A positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to growth. Start Date This is a secured full‑time teaching position commencing in 2026, with long‑term opportunities for leadership and career progression.
