Terpsichore Dance Company – Turramurra NSW Terpsichore Dance Company seeks an experienced and passionate Dance Teacher - Ballet & Contemporary to join our team in Turramurra, NSW. This part‑time role will involve teaching ballet, pointe, and contemporary dance classes to students aged 12 and above on Wednesday evenings from 4:00–9:00 pm (Feb – Dec 2026). What you'll be doing Developing and delivering engaging and technique‑focused ballet dance classes Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback Collaborating with the artistic director to plan and execute end‑of‑term performances Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment Attending regular staff meetings and professional development workshops What we're looking for Minimum 3 years of experience teaching ballet dance to a range of age groups Formal qualifications in dance or teaching, such as a Diploma or Bachelor of Dance Strong technical dance skills and the ability to demonstrate techniques effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students A passion for the performing arts and a commitment to providing a high‑quality dance education Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification A minimum of one year commitment to the role What we offer At Terpsichore Dance Company, we pride ourselves on our supportive and collaborative work environment.
