Senior Business Analyst

$117,579 – $132,230 per year plus superannuation Lead in finance business partnering and getting to know core areas of Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) by fostering a strong customer centric culture. As the Senior Business Analyst & Partnering you will lead in undertaking financial analysis, costing, budgeting, and forecasting to support FRV's long-term sustainability objective. The role will foster a high level of finance business partnering to all stakeholders with a strong customer focus and financial performance analysis to assist in the delivery of FRV's strategic objectives and Business plan outputs as well as support the broader government. You will regularly liaise with managers of departments to support in the costing of business cases and ERC Government funding proposals. You will provide training and guidance to the other members of the Business Analysis and partnering team and broader finance division as required. The position drives continuous business improvement throughout the finance division and more broadly by undertaking complex investigations and recommending solutions or alternative courses of action to support in FRV strategic pillars. The position develops and maintains sector relationships and networks and strives to introduce best practice principles. What you will need to Succeed To be successful in this position, you will have: Extensvie experience in financial analysis/management accounting role, costing, and business partnering Strong commercial business acumen, excellent negotiation and communication skills both verbal and written to promote FRV values to internal and external stakeholders Microsoft Office and Intermediate Level Excel and ERP software (SAP preferred) Tertiary qualification in Business and Accounting discipline is mandatory CPA or ACA membership is preferred or undergoing current study.
