The Opportunity We are seeking ambitious Business Development Managers in VIC, NSW, and QLD to accelerate regional growth. You will own a territory, build and manage a pipeline, and drive revenue across new and existing trade partners (installers, EPCs, distributors, retailers). This is a high‑impact role with clear progression and a generous commission structure. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a go‑to‑market plan to meet and exceed monthly sales targets. Identify, qualify, and close new channel partners and key accounts (installers, wholesalers, EPCs). Grow wallet share with existing customers through account planning, cross‑sell and up‑sell. Present Suncloud's residential storage and inverter portfolio (incl. Deye) with strong product/ROI narratives. Manage full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, proposal, commercial negotiation, and closing. Build accurate forecasts and maintain CRM hygiene (pipeline, activities, win/loss data). Coordinate with technical support, logistics, and marketing to ensure first‑class customer experience. Represent Suncloud at industry events, roadshows, and partner trainings in your state. Stay on top of market trends, competitor moves, rebates, and standards to inform strategy. Undertake regional travel of 5‑8 days per month to visit customers and attend business development activities. Qualifications & Skills 3–7+ years in B2B sales or business development; solar/renewables or electrical channel experience is preferred. Proven record of meeting/exceeding sales targets; strong negotiation and closing skills. Solid understanding of residential energy storage and inverters (or ability to learn quickly). Established network with installers/EPCs/distributors in VIC/NSW/QLD is a plus. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management. Self‑starter comfortable with hybrid work, travel within your region, and occasional interstate trips. Current Australian driver's licence; full work rights in Australia.
