About Our Client The organisation is a well-established entity in the Transport & Distribution industry with a strong presence across Australia. They are committed to leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiencies and deliver innovative solutions. Job Description Analyse business and operational requirements to identify IT/OT solutions. Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather and document requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of IT and OT systems. Develop and maintain detailed documentation of business processes and system functionalities. Identify potential risks and issues, and recommend mitigation strategies. Support the implementation of new systems and upgrades to existing infrastructure. Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in IT/OT integration. Translate requirements into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria to support agile delivery. Assist in the creation of UAT test scripts, coordinate testing activities, and support business users during testing phases. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and organisational policies. The Successful Applicant Skills & Qualifications Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Business Analyst role or a role requiring expert business process analysis and improvement skills, within IT and OT Infrastructure environments Demonstrated ability to effectively lead meetings and facilitate workshops to engage stakeholders and elicit outcomes for successful business process design and procedures Comfortable working in complex environments with multiple dependencies. Proven ability in the elicitation of business issues, business rules and information requirements using business process mapping Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities Familiarity with ITIL processes, SDLC, and Agile methodologies High level written and oral communication skills and excellent organisational skills Strong team focus with the ability to be flexible and adapt to project related changes to ensure the best possible outcome for Aurizon Self-motivated, with the ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly in an output orientated project structure Ability to adapt between project and improvement requests. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Visio, and project management tools (e.g., JIRA). Certifications (desirable): CBAP, ITIL, PMP, Prince2, Lean Six Sigma. What's on Offer Day rate contract.
