Machine Operator - Day & Night Shift - Carole Park Machine Operator As a Machine Operator you will have a valid Forklift License and have worked within a similar manufacturing environment and be open to learn the necessary trade and skills to be successful. What The Role Involves Operating concrete mixing, stacking and splitting machines Setting up and installing molds and other machine fixtures Setting grinding and cutting edges Carry out work in a safe manner, in accordance with Safety procedures as applicable Ensure process efficiencies are achieved and maintained Ensure production is in line with the specified production schedule Ensure product quality is in accordance with relevant specifications and that process checks are performed as required Actively participate in improvement projects Manual Handling tasks are performed as part of this role Be flexible and adaptable with a willingness to embrace shift work Complying with all WHS safety practices and procedures What you will need Previous experience in a quality assurance environment Valid Forklift License Available to work across a rotation Shift Pattern / 4 on 4 off 2 x 12hr day shifts – 6am-6pm, followed by / 2 x 12hr night shifts, 6pm-6am Strong mechanical aptitude Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of safety in the workplace Ability to use computers for the entry and retrieval of process data and machine operation Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills All successful candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening.
