Senior Systems Engineer – Infra & Cyber Projects Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Join Tekspace to work on real infrastructure projects and provide high‑level support for a mix of MSP and cybersecurity clients. This technical engineering role focuses on L3 escalations, infrastructure deployment, and cyber solution engineering with no sales targets. Responsibilities Own complex L3 issues across Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, Group Policy, Windows Server, Active Directory, firewalls, VPN, routing/switching and backup/DR. Deliver M365/Azure migrations, upgrades, remediation and security uplift projects. Design and stand up POC/trial environments for tools such as EDR, email security, application control, ZTNA/SWG and SAT. Run deployments and enablement so clients actually adopt purchased solutions. Help sharpen documentation, standards and how L1‑L2 teams handle escalations. Qualifications 5+ years as a Systems / Senior Systems / L3 Engineer. Strong MSP or multi‑customer IT services background. Solid experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, Group Policy, Windows Server, AD, firewalls, VPN, routing/switching and backup/DR. Familiarity with MSP tooling (RMM and PSA/ticketing). Curiosity about security tools and willingness to learn quickly. Exposure to EDR, email security, application control, ZTNA/SWG or SAT is useful but not mandatory. Why This Role?
