CAMHS Northern Country - RN2/AHP2 Clinician - Port Pirie Women's and Children's Health Network, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), Port Pirie (5540) Classification - AHP2 - Allied Health Professional L2 - $88,255 to $102,240 + Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice Benefits Classification - RN/M2C - Clinical Nurse/Midwife L2 - $84,870 to $107,279 + Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice Benefits Full time - Term Contract (temporary up to 12-months) About the Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity to join CAMHS as a Clinician , where you will be responsible for: Accepts accountability for the outcomes of clinical practice for children, adolescents, and their families with mental health issues. Is responsible for addressing any inconsistencies between practice and policy. Ensures optimal consumer care, focusing on achieving the best possible health and recovery outcomes for consumers. Involves the provision of assessment, education, counselling, and group work, which are essential components of care. Involves consultation and liaison with other professional disciplines and non-governmental organizations to support consumer care. Uses clinical knowledge, skills, and experience in providing direction, support, orientation, and education to other staff members. Leads and participates in action research projects, quality improvement activities, and policy development within the practice setting. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: The relevant degree/registration/qualification for your respective discipline Extensive clinical experience in the treatment and management of complex child and adolescent mental health issues. Demonstrated ability to conduct mental health assessment and therapeutic interventions of a complex nature with children, adolescents with emotional and behavioural difficulties Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work with individuals and families for positive mental health outcomes and to foster productive working relationships across disciplines For further Specifics regarding the Essential Minimum Requirements and how they compare to your relevant discipline please see attached role descriptions In the Useful Links section.
