About the Role The Catering Assistant supports residents' well‑being by creating welcoming dining experiences. Responsibilities include meal preparation, serving, dining area setup, dishwashing, kitchen cleanliness, and resident interaction. Your Key Responsibilities Will Be Assist in meal preparation (chopping, assembling salads, portioning, simple dishes) under supervision. Help serve meals to residents, ensuring appropriate dietary requirements are met. Set up dining areas before mealtimes, ensuring tables, cutlery, and glassware are ready. Wash dishes and kitchen equipment and maintain a clean, hygienic kitchen and dining area. Interact with residents in a friendly, courteous manner during mealtimes and address their needs. Skills & Experience Food Handlers Certificate. Adaptable, passionate, and willing to learn. Collaborative and skilled at teamwork. Friendly and effective communication abilities.
