Project Officer, Performance & Commissioning Join to apply for the Project Officer, Performance & Commissioning role at Victorian Department of Health About The Role The Project Officer reports to the Manager, Priority Programs and works as part of a small, dynamic team responsible for implementing key initiatives within the unit. This includes oversight of high-priority program portfolios such as the statewide eating disorder programs, Orygen National, the Parkville Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service, Supported Housing, and other emerging priority areas. The role requires the development of strong, collaborative relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including health services and non‑government organisations. Drawing on well‑developed project management capabilities, the Project Officer will lead and support the delivery of complex, high‑impact projects. Success in this role will require excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, strong written communication, and a sound understanding of the mental health and wellbeing system, the broader health sector, and government processes. About You A qualification in fields related to health, mental health, public health, health administration, project management or public policy is desirable. A sound understanding of the Victorian health system, and knowledge of the department and its operating processes and information systems is desirable.
