The Role: The Food Republic is currently looking for an exceptionally talented Chef De Partie / Commis Chef to join our team. The Food Republic is a fantastic place to learn your craft, showcasing Australian produce in breath-taking surroundings. With a focus on growing our team, our kitchen is currently searching for passionate, fully qualified, and experienced chefs to join us on a full time basis. We are looking for exceptionally talented chefs with demonstrated experience in cafe & restaurants, but above all, our ideal candidate has a desire to learn and a commitment to achieving the very best. This role will see you work with our Head Chef and Executive Chef. Weekend work, weekdays work finish time 7-3.30pm weekdays and 7-4pm weekends. Ideal Candidate: Exceptional presentation and communication skills Ability to work under pressure Possess a strong work ethic Excellent food knowledge A desire to perform at the highest level This is a full-time position that will require flexibility and weekend work; your shifts may comprise a combination of day and weekend shifts in accordance with business demands. As this position is full-time, candidates must have full working rights. We have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences, whether it is in fine dining, contemporary or café.
