You'll also be enrolled in our graduate program, and upon successful completion of two semesters, you'll be awarded a Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Clinical Studies – all course fees fully paid by the school. This is your chance to launch an exciting and rewarding veterinary career – don’t miss out 3-Year Discipline‑Specific Residency Equine Internal Medicine This full‑time residency program will allow you to meet the credential requirements for specialty certification in Equine Internal Medicine. The residency is supervised by academic staff, board‑certified in Equine and Large Animal Internal Medicine, and further supported by board‑certified specialists in equine surgery, equine sports medicine, anaesthesia, diagnostic imaging, emergency and critical care, and clinical and anatomic pathology. This robust training program also involves enrollment in a research master’s degree. Over the three years, you will experience a varied caseload and gain significant hands‑on clinical experience, working alongside leading specialists, highly skilled veterinarians, and dedicated veterinary nurses. Our team is passionate about delivering top‑tier equine care, and our hospital is well‑equipped with all the tools and technologies needed to provide an outstanding equine medicine service. As a resident, you will receive an annual base salary of $63,931, plus 17% superannuation or $67,127 plus 12% superannuation. Additional payment is made for attending after‑hours emergencies in‑hospital and you will be covered by Workcover.
