Configuration Management Specialist Join Babcock Australia & New Zealand as a Configuration Management Specialist for the JP9101 program. This role is key to ensuring the integrity and maturity of engineering solutions across the product lifecycle, supporting a high‑profile Defence initiative. About You You are a seasoned professional with around seven years of experience in technical or engineering roles, strong foundation in configuration and data management, and familiarity with PLM systems such as Teamcenter. You understand ISO 10007 and EIA‑649C standards, preferably with a background in Defence or Defence Industry, and you communicate effectively both written and verbal. You thrive in collaborative settings and align with Babcock’s principles of kindness, ownership, and continuous improvement. About The Role Reporting to the Configuration Manager, you will perform CM and DM activities for JP9101 products and services. Responsibilities include implementing processes for planning, identification, control, status accounting and audit, managing configuration baselines, leading technical investigations, supporting change‑management forums such as CCB and ECB, liaising with stakeholders, and contributing to technical documentation, risk assessments and process improvements. This role may involve domestic or international travel. Qualifications Australian citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Commonwealth Defence Security Clearance as defined by AGSVA guidelines. Technical or vocational qualification in a relevant discipline. Additional training qualifications in CM or DM specialisation.
