Regulatory Approvals and Stakeholder Manager Job Description We are currently seeking an experienced Stakeholder and Regulatory Approvals Manager to coordinate and secure all required approvals across Lochard’s suite of projects, while also supporting regulatory needs for the operating business. You are a strategic and collaborative professional with a strong background in regulatory approvals and stakeholder engagement. With a solid understanding of environmental and planning frameworks, you bring experience in managing complex approval processes, coordinating cross‑functional teams, and working with government agencies. Your ability to navigate legal, regulatory, and community landscapes enables you to drive outcomes that align with project goals and compliance requirements. You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and confident in leading negotiations, managing consultants, and ensuring high standards of governance and safety. Job Responsibilities Key responsibilities include engagement with key external stakeholders such as regulators, local and state government representatives, landholders as well as working closely with internal Lochard personnel, in particular the Legal team to ensure compliance with Lochard Energy’s governance frameworks and legal requirements for landholder and statutory approval processes. What you’ll need Tertiary bachelor’s degree in a relevant field Legal qualifications highly regarded Minimum 10+ years of experience in managing project stakeholders and regulatory approvals Strong understanding of Pipelines Act, Petroleum Act, EPA Act and other relevant legislation Approvals experience in electricity network connection highly regarded Strong written and verbal communication skills Collaborative, cross‑functional approach (openness to working with Legal, Communications and other corporate and stakeholder engagement functions within Lochard Energy) Microsoft Suite experience (Word, Outlook, Excel) Drive for results A passion for safety at work Job Benefits At Lochard, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team leading the way in energy innovation.
