Recruitment Consultant – Blue Collar (Temporary Workforce Solutions) 360 Personnel is a leading Australian recruitment agency with a strong national footprint and a proven track record in delivering tailored workforce solutions. We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our professional staffing division in Newcastle, NSW, specialising in blue-collar temporary placements. Location: Newcastle, New South Wales, AustraliaSalary: A$70,000 - A$80,000Employment type: Full‑time About the Role In this position, you will manage a diverse portfolio of clients and candidates across the construction, manufacturing and transport sectors. You will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring timely, accurate and compliant workforce solutions while upholding our service standards and organisational values. Key Responsibilities Conduct structured candidate interviews and assessments to ensure alignment with client requirements. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, shortlisting, onboarding and ongoing assignment management. Identify new business opportunities whilst maintaining strong consultative relationships with existing clients, providing informed hiring advice and workforce planning insights. Work independently and collaboratively to achieve team and individual performance targets. Manage competing priorities within a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. What We’re Looking For 3+ years’ proven recruitment and consulting experience in a similar blue‑collar temp recruitment role. Strong interviewing skills and a solid grasp of recruitment processes, with the ability to interpret client needs and recommend the right hiring strategies. Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with a client‑first mindset. Confidence working autonomously and collaboratively, consistently meeting performance expectations. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment where priorities shift quickly. Experience across construction, manufacturing, or transport (highly regarded).
