Reception & Call Centre - Volunteer - Canning Vale We are looking for volunteers to assist in either the Call Centre or at Reception. If you are interested in gaining experience across both areas, we are happy to accommodate this as well. We can be flexible and work around your availability, anytime between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday to Friday. The core responsibilities are: Call Centre Serve as the first point of contact for Good Sammy, providing a friendly and professional experience for all visitors and callers. Deliver excellent customer service to donors and potential donors. Assess the suitability of donations and schedule Good Sammy Truck Home Collections using the Outlook Calendar system. Process all queries and requests promptly, accurately, and efficiently. Maintain up‑to‑date Donation Collections and Donation Bin databases. Ensure that all items scheduled for collection are suitable for sale. Liaise effectively with other departments across the organisation to coordinate donation collections. Reception Greet and assist all walk‑in customers, ensuring they feel welcome. Direct visitors to the appropriate business units or staff members. Maintain a clean, tidy, and professional reception area at all times. Visitor Vests: Good Sammy provides vests for all guests. Reception is responsible for issuing and collecting vests and ensuring they are cleaned, using the in‑house laundry service. Maintain the kitchenettes, ensuring they are clean, well‑stocked. Pool Cars: Maintain the pool car, ensure the cars are parked in the designated bays. Category Disability Services Commitment Regular - less than 6 months Type Of Work Administration & Office Management, Disability Support Time Required Anytime between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday to Friday.
