The Role Champion a safety‑first culture through our Think Safe, Home Safe initiative. Enhance safety governance and drive continuous improvement in HSE practices. Take a proactive, consultative approach to compliance, risk management, and incident prevention. Lead audits, inspections, and regulatory engagement to maintain best‑in‑class standards. Advise on environmental compliance and sustainability practices. Build strong relationships with regulators to manage NHVR and WHS requirements. Develop and execute annual safety and compliance strategies. Coach, mentor, and inspire teams across the business to strengthen safety leadership. Investigate and prevent incidents to drive a safer work environment. Ensure all equipment is properly inspected, tested, and maintained. About You Cert IV in Training & Assessment (highly regarded). Deep knowledge of heavy vehicle laws, WHS, and compliance regulations. Experience working with regulatory bodies and industry compliance standards. A proven track record of driving change through HSE initiatives. Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills. Expertise in incident investigations and root cause analysis. Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills. The ability to navigate complex risks in a multi‑site operation. A strategic mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
