About the role We are seeking an Intermediate Consultant to join our Businessand Private Client Advisory division. You will be an integralpart of a team who have long-standing tenure with the firm, andpride themselves on their effective communication and approachablemanner. Key Responsibilities Prepare individual, company, trust and partnership taxreturns, including: Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements Processing and managing Tax Office correspondence(eg. Assessments, Instalments and PAYG Taxvariations) Prepare the complete set of financial accounts for allentities Prepare and analyse standard management reports for clients(ie cash flow reports, budgets, etc) Prepare workpapers to a quality standard as set by theDivision Provide feedback, guidance and support to junior teammembers which can involve acting as a buddy Prepare budgets and bills for services rendered Prepare financial statements for CharitableFoundations Other duties as required by the firm such as training,attendance at Careers Fairs, Committee membership, marketing,special projects, etc Key Skills and Experience 2-3 years’ experience in a Business Servicesenvironment in a Chartered/CPA accounting practice Exposure to tax issues and financial planning Degree qualified and have commenced CA / CPA studies Good knowledge of latest taxation law and accountingdevelopments Ability to provide support to junior members of staff Aptitude to identify any issues for discussion with theappropriate Manager Good time management skills, and ability to prioritise workand meet deadlines for a large group of clients Present professionally and possess excellent interpersonalskills Experience working with APS, Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks andcompetent with Microsoft Excel and Word Ability to speak Mandarin, highly desirable Best Kept Secrets of SW Progressive firm, with excellent career opportunities Flexible working environment 2 additional AL days per year 18 weeks paid parental leave for primary carers and 3 weeksfor non-primary Refer to client and refer a friend bonus scheme Employee Assistance Program and Wellness perks Assistance with home office setup Social Club Tailored Learning and Development Program Paid Course/study leave 1 paid professional membership per year Weekly lunch provided Apply today Create your own individual story and become a part of ours.
