Overview Our client is one of the leading tech companies in AU and they are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join on a 6 month rolling contract basis. This is a technology‑focused business that values and puts its people first and treats contractors no different to permanent employees. This is a hybrid role based in Sydney CBD, in the office 2‑3 days per week. Technical Requirements Proven commercial Android developer experience Fluency in Kotlin Experience with MVVM design pattern Experience with Coroutines and Jetpack Compose Experience across the full development lifecycle of native Android applications Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications Non‑technical Attributes Passion for your craft Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong team player who is willing to go above and beyond Customer‑focused approach High commitment to quality Benefits Supportive and positive company culture Exceptional work‑life balance Genuine career progression opportunities into leadership roles Long term contract site and long term projects Awesome company and apps to add to your CV/Portfolio Remuneration & Training On offer is a very competitive day rate of up to $1000 PD including super + GST, with rolling extensions, regular pay reviews and plenty of investment in training and personal development.
