Are you passionate about using technology to make a real impact? A high growth, VC-backed tech company focused on the health and wellbeing in the workplace are scaling and are looking to grow their mobile engineering capabilities. They are currently looking for a Mid and Senior level Android Developer to join their high performing team and help elevate their Android experience even further. About the Role You will take end-to-end ownership of Android features, from shaping the technical approach through to delivery, optimisation and continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with product and design teams to bring ideas to life, refine user experiences, and ensure the app remains fast, reliable and modern. You’ll also help raise the bar for engineering quality by contributing to architectural decisions, supporting best practices, and guiding junior developers as they grow. What You’ll Be Working On Building new Android features using modern Kotlin, Jetpack libraries and contemporary architecture Improving app performance, stability and user experience Collaborating across product, design and engineering to deliver thoughtful, user‑centred solutions Troubleshooting issues and owning fixes through to resolutionEnhancing development processes, documentation and code quality Providing technical guidance to junior members of the team What We’re Looking For Strong commercial experience building native Android apps in Kotlin Solid understanding of modern Android frameworks, architecture patterns and Jetpack components Confident working with asynchronous programming (Coroutines/Flow) Experience integrating APIs, Firebase, and location-based functionality Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD environments A collaborative mindset and the ability to work in a fast‑paced product environment Full working rights in Australia What’s on Offer Hybrid work model with a mix of office collaboration and WFH flexibility $1,000 annual development budget + study leave Paid parental leave with a supportive return‑to‑work programme Employee Share Option Plan Wellbeing allowance, salary packaging options, and novated leasing Weekly in‑office perks, a dog‑friendly environment, and regular social events Two days of volunteer leave per year If you love crafting high‑quality Android experiences and want to contribute to a product with real impact, we’d love to hear from you.
