THE OPPORTUNITY We are looking for a full-time Electrical & Lighting Design Consultant to join our talented and dedicated team of interior designers. As an Electrical and Lighting Design Consultant, your primary focus is to provide comprehensive and outstanding support and assistance to our clients through the electrical selections for their new homes (or investment). RESPONSIBILITIES Provide clients with suggestions, guidance and advice on design, lighting and electrical options for their new home Accurately document changes, selections and upgrades; write detailed variations Assist clients, sales and other departments with product and electrical questions and amendments Stay up to date on new, emerging market trends and product knowledge SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Qualification in Interior Design preferable. Experience in lighting design or similar with intermediate knowledge of CAD preferred. Mark up of Electrical & Lighting Floor plans. A flair for design, lighting and sustainable home solutions. A strong interest in the technical aspects of design and technology. Strong time management, organisational skills and flexibility with the ability to prioritise and execute tasks under pressure. Understanding the meaning of delivering excellent customer service is also a must. This fast‑paced role requires solid administrative skills and creativity, so the ability to meet deadlines and have demonstrated planning, organisational and time management skills are essential. You will be an exceptional communicator and able to build rapport with a diverse client group.
