As such we encourage therapists to dictate their own availability and enjoy other perks to maximise your ‘me time’ and retain that PASSION about making that “difference” that we all studied OT for We are seeking a talented Occupational Therapist to join our NDIS team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients identify their functional needs and providing the foundation for them to work towards a more independent capacity. What you'll be doing Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' functional abilities, limitations, and goals (functional capacity assessments, housing assessments, manual handling assessments, equipment trials). Develop, implement and integrate personalised recommendations to support clients to improve or retain their functional independence (skills development programs etc) Identify and assist with the procurement of assistive equipment and devices. This role includes collaborating with seating/postural specialists to gain their clinical insight and to do joint trials of options to script wheelchairs/ seating and sleep systems. Provide education and training to clients and their families/ support network on strategies to promote functional independence Participate in continuous learning and professional development activities with our OT Principal and external providers. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to client outcomes What we're looking for Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Preferably a minimum 2 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably working under the NDI s framework. As mentioned earlier, applications from OT's graduating end 2025/ start 2026 will be considered if the right candidate is found.
