About the Role As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will contribute to and assist the team with the efficient running of the department according to the established brand standards of Hyatt International, providing courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times when setting rooms and serving food & beverages to guests, in order to maximise guest satisfaction. Working in a team, you will support the Manager in the day to day operations as well as supporting the team to achieve our purpose. This varied and dynamic role provides a chance to develop your Hospitality career within an international company; either in Australia or overseas. Some of the responsibilities include: Prepare, set up, stock, take down, clean and provide quality beverages and food products, adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Take food and drink orders and deliver to guest room if necessary. Provides excellent service to guests and internal customers in other departments as appropriate. Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships. Establishes a rapport with guests maintaining good customer relationships. Recommend Food & Beverage combinations and up sell alternatives. Qualifications A Successful candidate will have: Previous Food & Beverage experience in a hotel environment or similar fast-paced environment A valid and current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate Exceptional interpersonal, communication and time management skills The ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of 5‑star grooming standards The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays A career with Hyatt opens a world of opportunities.
