About the role We are seeking motivated First Nation individuals who want to gain hands on experience in Social Work and contribute to better health outcomes for Indigenous communities. This identified, temporary position (24 months) graduate position will be primarily based at Laidley Hospital. It offers a supportive and culturally safe environment where you will work closely with experienced Social Workers in a rural setting, while receiving enhanced training, development, and cultural mentoring. Program Details Temporary Full-time opportunity for up 2 years Graduate Pathway Dedicated development time for training, project work, and cultural mentoring Enrolment in the IAHA Leadership Program, plus modules in Project Management Skills and Quality Improvement. Participation in cultural mentoring with other First Nations graduates. Cultural support through mentoring, First Nations staff check-ins, Elders morning teas, and participation in West Moreton Health cultural events.
