Cost Less Bolts Moorabbin Pty Ltd – Highett VIC Cost Less Bolts (Moorabbin), a long-standing, independently owned distributor of fasteners and industrial supplies, is seeking a customer-focused, hands‑on Counter Salesperson to join our team in Highett. This is a fast‑paced, full‑time role ideal for someone who thrives on variety and enjoys both customer interaction and warehouse support. About the Role The Duties Include (but are not limited to): Assisting customers at the retail counter, by phone, and via email Picking and packing orders with accuracy and urgency Handling customer payments (cash & EFTPOS) Supporting the warehouse – including stock control, goods inwards/outwards, and general warehouse duties Performing general showroom housekeeping tasks Liaising professionally with customers and suppliers Supporting the internal sales team with overflow calls Adhering to OH&S standards and procedures The Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate: A customer service‑focused mindset with a can‑do attitude Excellent communication skills—able to listen, understand, and respond clearly A quick learner who can take direction and work independently Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Self‑motivation, punctuality, and reliability A team player with a strong work ethic Physical fitness and comfort with manual handling tasks Intermediate computer literacy and confidence with technology Ideally, You’ll Also Have: Experience in counter sales or a similar retail role Knowledge of fasteners, tools, or construction/industrial products Previous experience in a trade supply or hardware environment Strong relationship‑building skills with customers and suppliers Don’t worry if you don’t tick every box—on‑the‑job training will be provided Why Join Us?
