As the broker‑home‑loan channel continues to experience strong growth, we are looking for a Loan Origination Support Officer to join our Brisbane‑based Loan Origination Services Team. In this role, your ultimate responsibility is to ensure an efficient and timely journey of the mortgage applications through the Pre‑assessment stage, along with Broker onboarding and administrative tasks through exceptional customer service and workflow management. Working within a dynamic team, you will receive comprehensive training and support to equip you with the skills needed to succeed. As part of a fast‑paced, high‑volume business, you’ll quickly gain an in-depth understanding of the home loan process, contributing directly to the Bank’s growth and continued success. Key Responsibilities Assess and verify financial documentation related to home loan applications, credit checks, and valuation orders, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations. Assist brokers and BRMs with inquiries related to applications, including status, missing information requests and returned documents. Manage your own workflow of files throughout the pre‑assessment process, ensuring deadlines are met and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders involved in the loan application process. Complete Broker accreditations ensuring compliant and data entry accurate in the relevant databases. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying areas of improvement within the loan origination process and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and customer experience. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the loan origination and approval process. What You’ll Bring to the Table While prior experience in consumer lending would be advantageous, it’s not essential—what truly matters is who you are and how you can enhance our brokers’ experience We will provide comprehensive training and support to equip you with the tools necessary to succeed. This is a high‑volume environment, offering a fast‑track opportunity to build extensive knowledge of the home loan journey, from application to settlement. In addition to your strong problem‑solving, negotiation, and communication skills, you'll need to demonstrate: A keen eye for detail and exceptional communication skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to change and maintain a high level of motivation. A strong desire and ability to quickly learn the Bank’s Credit Policy and Consumer Mortgage Lending procedures. A commitment to personal growth and career development within the organisation.
