The Role We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Analyst to join our Financial Crime Risk team in Melbourne. In this role you will support the development, maintenance, and execution of the strategic intelligence priorities of the Financial Crime Intelligence Unit (FCIU) and Risk Assessments team. Responsibilities Work closely with stakeholders to support the execution of Financial Crime Intelligence Unit and Risk Assessment priorities. Conduct financial crime risk assessments. Executed data analytics and data visualisation activities to support Crown’s FCIU priorities. Develop and maintain specialist AML/CTF and regulatory knowledge, with a particular focus on financial crime typologies and emerging risks. About you This role is ideal for someone who thrives in environments where critical thinking and collaboration are key, and who is eager to learn about protecting organisations from financial crime through robust risk assessments. Your ability to analyse complex information, communicate insights clearly, and build strong relationships with stakeholders will set you up for success in this role. Qualifications Experience working in a financial crime risk management, consulting or regulatory environment. Proven experience in the execution of risk assessments in line with risk assessment methodologies. Good understanding of Financial Crime Risk Assessments and Intelligence products. Practical experience using data analytics and data visualisation tools (e.g. SQL, Splunk, Python, R, Tableau, PowerBI etc.) is desirable. A Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Data Science, Information Technology, Business Management; Law; MBA etc.) is desirable.
