Senior Unified Communications Engineer Location of work: Canberra/Hybrid Application closing date: Friday, 09 January 2026 Security Clearance: NV1 or higher Estimated start date: Monday, 02 March 2026 Selection Criteria Ten years of experience in designing, deploying and managing UC systems and solutions. Strong stakeholder management and client services skills. Ability to articulate technical detail through detailed design and implementation plans. Highly developed diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively as a team member. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. A broad understanding of industry, whole of government direction, emerging technologies and how they can be applied to solve business problems. Experience in the day-to-day operations of Unified Communications systems and solutions, including the management of voice and data transmissions through the deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting and optimising of the workflow of UC systems (voice, video and VoIP). A strong understanding of ASD Essential 8 and experience with contributing to security accreditation of ICT systems. Progressive experience and familiarity with current and emerging networking and collaboration technologies.
