Accountant (Tax and Business Services) Full-time or Part-time Our client is a well-established boutique accounting firm that has been around for more than 10 years. They offer business advisory and tax solutions to family businesses. The two Partners have worked closely together for more than 15 years and have branched out to set up their own practice. They are a close-knit team who work together as one to provide excellent client services. They have a strong belief in developing and encouraging their staff to succeed by providing significant ongoing internal training. They are technologically advanced and always ahead of their competitors, investing in the most up to date technology. Their offices are located in Northbridge, where you will be close to some great restaurants, bars and cafes. You can find all day parking just over the road for as little as $13 a day and their offices are only a short walk from the train station. Their offices are modern, open planned, bright, and spacious and the working environment is warm, friendly, and inclusive. THE OPPORTUNITY An opportunity has arisen for a Senior or Intermediate Tax and Business Services Accountant to join the firm on a full-time or part-time basis. Working closely with their management team, you will be dealing with a mix of advisory and compliance work. Duties include: Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for family businesses. Preparing business activity statements. Tax advisory including CGT and Div 7A. Liaising with ATO and external agencies. Liaising with clients. Mentoring junior staff members. BENEFITS A generous remuneration package depending on experience ($80,000 - $100,000 + super). REQUIREMENTS 3-6 years’ experience in tax and business services. Be working towards or completed your CA. Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team.
