Reignite Support Services – North Plympton SA Reignite Support Services is hiring a Full time Personal Care Worker role in North Plympton, SA. Apply now to be part of our team. Position Overview As a Personal Care Worker / Personal Care Assistant at Reignite Support Services, you will provide daily, hands‑on support to clients with a high degree of empathy, attentiveness, and professionalism. Your role is essential in helping clients live with independence, safety, and choice. You will work closely with participants, their families, and allied health professionals to deliver planned supports tailored to individual goals. Key Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks such as showering, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding. Support mobility, transfers, and safe movement (including the use of aids / equipment). Aid in communication and transport as needed. Participate in care planning and review, contributing observations and input. Follow therapy / behavioural / support plans (including interventions for behavioural challenges). Monitor and report changes in clients’ conditions, incidents, or concerns. Assist with rehabilitation exercises or therapeutic tasks (as delegated by allied health). Assist in medication administration (within scope and training). Support clients in community engagement, social activities, and skill development. Requirements for this role Flexible hours available. 1 year of relevant work experience required. What We’re Looking For Certificate III (or higher) in Disability Support, Community Services, or a related field, or at least 3 years’ relevant experience. Minimum 1 year post‑qualification experience in personal care / disability support. Valid National Police Check, less than 12 months old. Current First Aid Certificate (if not held, we will arrange training as part of induction). Strong verbal and written English communication skills. (Preferred) Valid Driver’s Licence. Willing and able to reliably commute to Adelaide CBD, or plan to relocate before commencement. What We Offer Competitive salary from AUD 66,000 – 76,000 plus super. Overtime pay as applicable.
