Partnerships Manager WHO ARE SUPERCARS? The Repco Supercars Championship is the premier motorsport category in Australasia and one of the most watched and attended sports in the country. The sport is evolving and is now globally recognised as the best touring car category in the world and a leader in motorsport entertainment. PRIMARY PURPOSE Manage existing partnership relationships with our key clients. Ensure that contractual deliverables are executed in an effective and timely manner. Work with clients to ensure they achieve a return on objective whilst working to grow and uplift investment across the respective properties. Support and lead existing partnerships renewals. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Manage several key Championship and Event partnership accounts to ensure all contracted partnership arrangements are delivered and reported on. Develop strong relationships with all partners and event stakeholders to ensure sponsor objectives and contracted deliverables can be achieved. Reporting regularly to the Senior Partnership Manager and/or Head of Partnerships on the management of sponsors and the delivery of sponsor KPIs. Strategically work with clients to ensure that they receive a ROI whilst working to grow and uplift the investment across respective properties. Preparing and presenting partnership proposals to existing partnership clients to drive the renewal and/or upgrade of existing partnerships. Manage a direct report. Drive engagement and nurture direct report to develop their skillsets. Closely work with Supercars research/insights partners to develop an insights-centred Commercial Partnerships program. Ownership of key internal processes, i.e., TV/content deliverables, is to be mutually agreed upon. Collaborate with the Digital Department/Greenroom to identify new opportunities across all partnerships, managing the rollout out of digital assets. Identifying new opportunities within the Supercars Events and working with the sponsors to provide added value to their partnerships. Preparation of draft partnership contracts for approval/finalisation/amendment by the Legal Team. Helping to maintain the partnership deliverables system and partnership contract filing system. Involvement with planning and delivery of the Business-to-Business Partner programme. Manage the delivery of all partnership entitlements at Supercars events in a consistent manner with how they have been sold, including attendance at most, if not all, Supercars Events. Assist the Corporate Hospitality team and Events team in implementing and managing the various detailed partnership benefits at our Events. Managing Championship/ Event partnership logo use and any other contracted or non-contracted deliverables from time to time. Working with the Head of Partnerships/Partnerships Managers/Partnership Executives to ensure event delivery (course car rides, grid walks, etc). All other duties that assist in the smooth running of the department and the business. Note that this role requires extensive interstate travel, along with weekend and evening work. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Professional experience Relevant tertiary qualifications. Minimum 4+ years’ experience. Previous experience in a sales & partnerships/sponsorships and/or sporting environment (desirable). Sound understanding of the digital landscape and delivery of digital assets. Experience in managing event activations. Project management experience in dealing with large events. Personal attributes Creative thinker and focussed on creative solutions for our clients. Enthusiasm, confidence and ability to work independently. Well-developed written communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels. Detail-orientated, organised with good time management. Strong attention to detail and high standards of integrity. Ability to work under pressure and to tight timeframes, without close supervision. Resilience and drive. Friendly, courteous, professional manner. Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
