Norton Gold Fields is seeking an accomplished Senior Management Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a key role supporting the strategic and operational success of our mining operations by delivering high‑quality financial insights, governance, and decision support. You will work closely with operations, engineering, and senior leadership to ensure financial performance is optimised across the business. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate and timely management and financial reports, with actionable analysis. Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, monitor variances, and provide recommendations. Manage costs, track operational KPIs, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and internal controls, supporting audits where required. Deliver financial modelling, feasibility studies, and commercial analysis to guide investment and long‑term planning. Partner with operational teams to provide expert financial advice and foster cross‑functional collaboration. Mentor and support junior finance professionals, helping build team capability. Drive system and process improvements to enhance reporting and decision‑making. About You Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Extensive experience in management accounting, financial analysis, or similar roles. Previous exposure to mining/resources, with knowledge of operational and financial challenges in the sector. Strong technical skills in financial systems (SAP/Pronto desirable), advanced Excel, and financial modelling. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to balance attention to detail with a commercial and strategic outlook. Benefits & Compensation Permanent full‑time role with immediate start. Excellent remuneration package with additional allowances. Receive $12k residential allowance per annum. Receive up to 15% short‑term incentive payment (STIP) of your base salary. A fully covered family private health insurance through GU Health Complete Gold Cover or an allowance of $4.8k. A fully covered Death and Total & Permanent Disability (TPD) insurance.
