We’re seeking a proactive Community Connector Project Worker to lead initiatives that remove systemic barriers and foster culturally responsive supports for families engaged in the Family Preservation and Reunification (FPR) program. This role is all about collaboration, innovation, and creating sustainable pathways that help families thrive. About the Role Identify systemic barriers and develop strategies to improve access for multicultural families. Build strong partnerships with local services, cultural organisations, and community groups. Facilitate community‑led design sessions and capacity‑building workshops. Use data and insights to inform resource development and service improvements. Support culturally informed responses in collaboration with partners like Cultura. Position Details Part time, Fixed term position until 30/06/2026 0.6 FTE (22.8 hours per week) $101,032 (pro‑rata) p/a + Super + Salary Packaging Why Work with Us? What We're Looking For Tertiary qualifications in Community Development, Health Promotion, Psychology, Social Work, or an associated discipline. Demonstrated understanding of and experience in identifying systemic barriers for young people and families working towards achieving meaningful community connections. Experience in project planning and coordination. Experience working with CALD communities and service providers. Demonstrated experience working in partnership across sectors (e.g., community, education, health, and cultural organisations) to achieve shared outcomes for children and families. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally, including experience in community engagement and collaborative partnerships. Proven ability to work independently and flexibly, managing time effectively, prioritising tasks, coordinating events, and ensuring positive outcomes for service users.
