About the facility Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac. About the role The Community EMR Educator will play a key role in supporting the successful rollout of Barwon Health’s new Community Electronic Medical Record (EMR) project. This project will bring together a range of community-based services into one integrated system, including Community Nursing, Hospital in the Home (HITH), Carer Support, Social Support, HealthLinks, Remote Patient Monitoring, Post-Acute Care and Continuing Care Services. Working closely with the project team and System Administrators, the Community EMR Educator will lead the delivery of tailored education and training programs to ensure our workforce is confident and ready to use the new system. Key responsibilities Developing engaging learning content such as e-learning modules and quick reference guides. Delivering classroom and virtual training sessions, including Train the Trainer programs. Providing clinician end-user training and ongoing support. Contributing to other learning and development initiatives related to EMR implementation.
