The Opportunity The Royal Freemasons community is looking for experienced and motivated Food Services Assistants (FSA) to join our team at Footscray Residential Aged Care Facility located in Footscray. Located moments from the city of Melbourne, Royal Freemasons Footscray is set in well‑established, treed gardens with grassy outdoor retreats and courtyards. Specialising in high‑needs care for members of the Vietnamese and Chinese community, fluency in Vietnamese and/or Chinese will ensure the needs and preferences of our residents are understood and are met to an exceptional standard. Key Responsibilities Making sure that the dining rooms are well kept, tables are neatly presented, Preparation, serving, presentation and delivery of food and beverages in accordance with the Food Safety Program. Ensuring that the correct food and beverages are served to each resident according to their dietary/specialised nutritional requirements. Ensure a high standard of customer service, always including presenting in a professional manner when interacting with residents during meal services. Key Requirements It is a mandatory requirement when working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of this role. All Aged Care workers are encouraged to be vaccinated against Covid‑19 (3 vaccines) and to receive the Flu‑Vaccine; all successful applicants will be required to provide proof of Covid‑19 vaccination prior to commencement.
