Full‑time positions available for a 300‑seat waterfront restaurant. Due to our expansion and growth we are seeking experienced hospitality professionals. We are seeking experienced Head Waiter & restaurant waitstaff to join our team. Our venue: Beautiful restaurant operation with 300+ seats at 8 At Trinity Restaurant located at the $588m Trinity Point 5 Star Luxury Waterfront Development overlooking beautiful Lake Macquarie. 80 mins north of Sydney and 30‑40 mins south of Newcastle. Responsibilities Take reservations, greet customers, and present menus and beverage lists. Set and arrange tables; recommend dishes and wines, particularly in fine‑dining establishments. Take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff. Serve food and beverages, open bottles, pour beverages, mix liquor, and assist in the cellar. Clear tables, return dishes and cutlery to the kitchen, remove empty bottles and used glasses, and refill and replace glasses. Collect payments for sales and operate POS machines and cash registers. Communicate food orders to chefs with attention to priorities and special requests (e.g., food allergies). Communicate with front‑of‑house and kitchen staff to keep up to date on stock levels. Prepare food and beverage areas of the restaurant for service. Adhere to RSA legislation and requirements. Communicate and liaise with other staff to keep up to date on stock levels. Communicate any service issues and escalating complaints to the Restaurant Manager, leaving customers satisfied. Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager. Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment. Adopt continuous learning and improvement processes in all aspects of the position; understand, implement, and promote company policies, WHS objectives, and procedures. Available to work days, evenings, and weekends. (8 at Trinity is currently closed on Mondays and Tuesdays) Qualifications Relevant qualification or work experience in a similar position. Ability to handle a busy section with multiple sittings per day for section waitstaff. Very well presented and well spoken; reliable and honest.
