To be considered for this role, you must meet one of the following requirements: Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, and have relevant experience.Hold a Certificate IV in Disability Services, Community Services, Individual Support or equivalent What’s on offer: Competitive base rate of $34.58 to $37.73 per hour + casual loadings and shift loadings as per SCHADS Award (Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010) and Super (12%) First Aid certificate compliance allowance (pro-rata) Tax-free salary packaging up to $15,900 per year (pro-rata) Enjoy a tax-free meal and entertainment card up to $2,650 per year (pro-rata) Exclusive employee discounts for permanent staff members including automotive discounts, pharmacy discounts and fitness passport. About you As a Support Worker, you will have: Current NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to drive Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate A paid Working with Children Check (WWCC) A National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDISWC) Willingness to provide consent to be listed on the Residential Care Workers Register (RCWR) Availability to work across a 24/7 roster Minimum Certificate IV in Disability Services, Community Services or Individual Support OR Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, and have relevant experience.A day in the role of a Children’s Services Disability Support Worker As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in offering essential care and support to children and young people who may be facing various challenges.
