Medical Receptionist

This is a full time position in the administration team. As a successful candidate, you will work as a Medical Receptionist– performing receptionist duties at our sites, as well as provide administrative support to our head office Contact Centre in Nedlands. The role will be primarily based from our dynamic Nedlands clinics, but there may be times you are required to provide assistance at other CVS / CRS clinics, including for training. You will have pride in being a face of our company and your professional, helpful and caring approach will support our commitment to an excellent patient experience. You will be able to work independently but always within a team and your flexibility and willingness to help out and to do what is required to be done will contribute to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities Meet and greet patients attending diagnostic testing and consultant appointments. Schedule and confirm patient testing and consultation appointments. Manage and co-ordinate several busy diagnostic and consulting rooms operating concurrently with both inpatients and outpatients. Receive and process telephone calls, emails and faxes from patients and medical practitioners. Manage incoming results and referrer requests (via phone and email) and triage accordingly. Process patient medical accounts including Medicare claims. Book hospital procedural appointments for consultants when needed. Assist consultants with the running of their clinics. You will possess A minimum of 3 years experience as a medical receptionist. A commitment to providing excellent customer service. Excellent telephone skills with a professional, caring, friendly and helpful approach. An excellent ability and willingness to multi-task and work in a fast‑paced, demanding environment. Pride in the quality and accuracy of your work with a very high attention to detail. An aptitude for learning our medical bookings system. A strong work ethic, integrity, commitment and enthusiasm to contribute to a small team as well as to the business. Quick and accurate keyboard skills.
