SAP Program Manager - Drive Enterprise Transformation Milestone Information Technology – Melbourne VIC Milestone IT is seeking an elite SAP Program Manager to spearhead our major client's upcoming, strategic SAP upgrade and transformation program. This is a pivotal, high‑impact role responsible for the successful execution and delivery of this multi‑year enterprise initiative. We are looking for a seasoned leader who can manage complexity, govern large program budgets, and flawlessly coordinate multiple project streams to achieve core business objectives. About the Role: As the SAP Program Manager, you will hold overall accountability for the program's success. Your focus will be on defining the governance structure, managing stakeholder expectations at the executive level, mitigating risks, and ensuring the seamless integration and successful delivery of all related SAP upgrade projects (functional, technical, change management, etc.). Key Responsibilities Define and maintain the Program Vision, Strategy, and Roadmap in alignment with executive business goals. Establish and lead the Program Governance framework, managing steering committees, resource allocation, and budget tracking (P&L responsibility). Oversee and coordinate multiple concurrent SAP projects (e.g., technical upgrade, module rollouts, data migration, change management). Identify, track, and proactively manage program‑level risks, issues, dependencies, and critical path items. Manage communication and expectation setting with C‑level stakeholders and business unit leaders across the enterprise. Ensure program deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to defined scope, schedule, and budget. Essential Skills & Experience 10+ years in IT Program Management, with significant experience leading large‑scale SAP Transformation or Upgrade Programs. Proven expertise in defining and executing robust Program Governance models. Exceptional financial acumen and experience managing program budgets exceeding $10M+. Deep understanding of the SAP project lifecycle (e.g., ASAP or Activate methodology) and complex integration points within an SAP landscape. Superior leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, capable of influencing senior‑level stakeholders. Certifications such as PMI‑PgMP, PMP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
