AWH Service Development Operational Manager Join the largest regional health service between Sydney & Melbourne Competitive salary plus generous salary packaging options Flexibility for balancing work & life commitments The AWH Service Development Operational Manager involves leading a specialised team responsible for managing & executing major service overhauls as part of the extensive Albury Wodonga Regional Hospital Project. The core function is to oversee the entire service redesign & implement new models of care. This is a crucial step in preparing for the physical relocation of services, first to the Northeast Building, & subsequently to the new Clinical Services Building (CSB). Key responsibilities Collaboratively working with various relevant stakeholders to realign service provision & delivery Ensuring all changes result in contemporary, safe, efficient, & high-quality service delivery Driving the integration of State, Local Health Service Network, & AWH Qualifications & Experience Tertiary qualifications relevant health-related field, business management, or equivalent degree 5 plus years in health service planning, development, or senior project management, preferably within a hospital/health service environment Experience leading change management processes & multidisciplinary teams in a complex healthcare setting Understanding of contemporary models of care, service delivery, & healthcare systems Experience working with executive teams, senior stakeholders, & project teams to deliver high-quality health services Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate & engage stakeholders across multiple spectrums of the organisation Advanced verbal & written communication skills High-level computer literacy, verbal & written communication Employment Type: This is a full-time 40-hour-a-week position with a monthly ADO, fixed-term opportunity for 24 months. About Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) AWH serves as the largest regional healthcare provider between Sydney and Melbourne, situated in the border cities of Albury and Wodonga. With a dedicated team of over 3,000 professionals, we proudly service a population of up to 300,000 across North‑East Victoria and Southern NSW. Our extensive network encompasses two primary hospital campuses and an additional 22 sites, delivering a diverse range of emergency, surgical, women's and children's, community, mental health, allied health, and sub‑acute services. Our growth continues with the opening of a state‑of‑the‑art Emergency Department in 2024, and the construction of a new hospital at our Albury site by 2028.
