Overview We are looking for a passionate, hardworking and experienced Computer Network and Systems Engineer to join our team at Distimax, located in Freshwater, NSW. The role includes: Review system problems internally and with users Suggest improvements on detected problems Install and test application software packages prior to releasing into production Assess and recommend improvements to network operations and integrated hardware and software Conduct maintenance of and troubleshoot network, storage and compute infrastructure hardware and software problems Monitor network traffic to ensure optimal network performance Conduct Blanco Hard Drive Data erasure procedures on hard disks and/or LUN and/or files over a network cloud set up Maintain a production infrastructure stack including Isilon storage with Isilon PowerScale OneFS operating system and hardware Prepare and maintain a set of procedures for documentation for diagnosis, recovery, and enhancements of network systems Planning, timing, and coordination of training Responsibilities: Plan, develop, deploy, test, and optimize network and hardware systems Take responsibility for configuration management and overall operational readiness of network systems Operate systems and hardware configurations and provide troubleshooting and fault-finding Maintain and service data centre networks and hardware equipment (primarily mid to high-end networking, servers, and other storage devices) of assigned accounts Undertake daily administration including monitoring system performance and take remedial action Test and develop hardware and solutions; provide top‑notch service to ensure 100% customer loyalty Desired Skills & Experience: Relevant degree qualifications or equivalent or 5 years of experience in similar roles Strong technical skills and knowledge of computer hardware Bi‑lingual or other client service software experience is an advantage If you would like to join our team, please apply by sending your resume. #J-18808-Ljbffr
